From the Director:

I've been in Education for 25 years. This is my 13th year as an A.D./Head Football coach, including 10 years in Sanger. I was a teacher/coach in various districts and spent three years in the private sector before being hired in 2007 to lead this Athletic Program. I am a 1984 graduate of Sanger High School and my family has deep roots in this community. I am passionate about our school district as a whole not just the Athletic Department. I attended McMurry University in Abilene Texas and received my B.S. in Education in 1989. I played football at McMurry along with being involved in intramurals and other activities. I have been married to my wife, Lori, for 23 years. My son, Jake, is a junior at Sanger High School and my daughter, Taylor, is a 4th grader at Butterfield Elementary. It has always been my goal, as the Athletic Director, to build and maintain an Athletic Department that is successful in every sport. I am proud of where we are as a program but not satisfied. We will continue to build on the success that we've had striving to become the best 4A Athletic Program in the state.

I've been in Education for 22 years. This is my 12th year at Sanger ISD.   I am a 1989 graduate of Hawley High School.  I attended Western Texas College in Snyder where I played collegiate basketball under the infamous Kelly Chadwick.  I then moved onto Schreiner University and played collegiate basketball and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Kinesioogy and Education.  I was a Grad Assistant Coach for Schreiner for one year and then moved to Argyle, Texas where I was the Head Basketball coach for Argyle ISD for several years.  In 2005, I decided to make a career move and started working for Sanger ISD.  I have been married to my husband, Shane, for 20 years.  I have two sons, Casey and Mickey.  Casey is a sophomore at Randall University in Oklahoma and is playing baseball.  Mickey is a junior at Sanger High School and is involved in football, basketball and baseball.
I have been very blessed in my years at Sanger.  The community and parents have been extremely supportive.  My goal as Girls' Coordinator is to have the most successful teams at the 4A level in the state.  I want them not only to be successful in the gym, but I want them to strive in academics and community involvement.  My ultimate goal is for our athletes to have high character and hard work ethic in which will make them be successful in life after high school.
