Sanger High School

Dr. Christopher Granger
Sanger Indians,
My family and I are excited about beginning our time in Sanger ISD and I look forward to serving as your high school principal.  Throughout my life education has been critical in my biggest achievements and successes.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology with a Specialization in Sports Medicine.  That afforded me the opportunity to work in the Kansas City Royals organization as well as 9 years at Converse Judson High School.  After that time I returned to school at Lamar University where I completed my Master's Degree in Educational administration and my Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership.  One of the best moments of my life was for my wife and children to see me walk the stage and receive my Doctorate.  I am entering my 16th year in education during which time I have served as a teacher, athletic trainer, assistant athletic director, assistant principal, AVID district director and campus principal.
As they say it takes a village to raise a child and I believe we must all work together to ensure the best for your children, the students of Sanger ISD.  I look forward to working with students, parents, colleagues and community members to make Sanger High School the best place in Texas to go to school.  I am committed to providing leadership to the faculty, staff and students of Sanger High School in providing a challenging and rewarding educational experience for all students.  If you have any questions or would like to speak to me please feel free to call the high school at 940-458-7497 or email me at
