  • Emergency Weather Procedures

    The recent tragedies in Granbury and Moore make it vitally important that we review our emergency weather procedures. 

    The best advice we can give to parents in the event of dangerous weather situations is to monitor our Sanger I.S.D. website at http://sisd.sangerisd.net. 

    If the National Weather Service issues a tornado warning for the Sanger vicinity, all schools will initiate their lockdown procedures.  If a school is in lockdown, all doors are locked and no students may be picked up or leave.  In addition to the lockdown being posted on the website, schools will place a sign on their front doors that the school is in lockdown. 

    When the tornado warning is lifted, the website will be immediately updated and the signs on the doors will be removed.

    Any questions regarding SISD lockdown procedures should be directed to your building principal.
